To My Friend, Moon-Shyne

This is my late birthday gift to my friend, Alicia, aka Moon-Shyne, From one fellow Sly Cooper to another, I give her a Sly and Carmelita fan-made picture of them with their kids. This is the first picture involving my new drawing technique, darker outlines. And I read that you're still sick, Alicia. I really hope and prayed you'll feel better soon.

Sly and Carmelita are on a family vacation at the beach with their children, Jessica and Matthew, Moon-Shyne's version/ OCs of Sly and Carmelita's children. This is the second Sly and Carmelita drawing I did of one of friends' fan-fiction characters for a present. The first one is Happy Birthday ZiaCooper for mugiwara-mina,  warnerrepublic.deviantart.com/… Drawing Matthew was difficult at first. Trying to match the hair and facial features of his chin while trying to make him and his sister look more into Sanzaru Games style like their parents. Here's a story for this picture I want to tell to all of you and I hope you all will love.

    The Cooper family are going on vacation, taking two long weeks of relaxation away from the bustling city of love that is their hometown, Paris, France, to the beautiful, sandy beaches of Southern Italy. Sly and Carmelita decided to take a family vacation or what Europeans call, "holiday", since she has been tired and busy after taking down the Sanzaru Gang's illegal tea smuggling operation, and even though since Sly is retired again from his life of master thievery since he married Carmelita, he's also tired from home-schooling their children. Their older daughter, Jessica, and young son, Matthew has been excited for this trip for awhile, their family hasn't been out of the city that much. The Coopers arrived at Paris International Airport, showed their passports, and hand in their tickets, ready to board their flight. The jet took off out of the runaway and headed southeast towards Italy. The flight will take around two and a half hours but the Coopers are doing their best to keep themselves entertained and enjoy the ride. Sly is enjoying the action/ comedy movie The Other Guys starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg on the little personal TV on the front of his seat, he laughed a little at the funny moments. Carmelita was reading a magazine but she dozed off several minutes later and fell asleep. She was really tired from work after spending those days arresting every member of the Sanzaru Gang. She rest her head on Sly's shoulders and he likes it. He smiles at his tired police inspector wife. She looked like a beautiful, sleeping angel. Sly gave Carmelita a nice kiss on the forehead, which made Carmelita smile a little while she enjoys her sleep. Jessica and Matthew is seating next to each other right by the window, doing well without being bored. Jessica is playing with her PlayStation Portable game while her brother is listening to rock and pop music on his PiPad. Jessica is playing a World War ll-like strategy game called Conquerors and Heroes by Sucker Punch Productions, she is trying to lead her Allied army forces to take over an occupied city from the enemy. She loves playing that game. Jessica is playing multilayer with her best friend, Beth Rhapsidy, back home on her PSP. Matt watches as his sister plays her game.
    "What are you playing?" asked Matt as he turned off his PiPad.
    "Conquerors and Heroes." said Jess. "I'm playing with Beth right now. We're in the middle of a battle against the Communist Canadians."
    "Cool. So how's Beth been doing?"
    "Fine. She's doing great. She talked about you for the last few days."
    "Really? What about?"
    "She said she likes you and you been checking her out for awhile and it made her happy."
    "Whoa. Do you think Beth thinks I'm handsome?"
    Jessica paused her game by surprise and had a weird feeling over her brother's question. She laughingly questioned Matthew.
    "Dude, why you have to ask me that? That's weird for me to say. Just ask out Beth on a date, of course she likes you and you really like her."
    "I will. Sorry, about that. That was pretty stupid what I said."
    "Its okay. Its just goes to show that Dad was right, nobody can resist the Cooper charm. And since we got Mom's looks and charms also, we're both an irresistible double threat."
    "Amen, Big Sis."
    The two half-raccoon/half-fox siblings fist bumped and went back to their entertainment devices, but Matt decided to take a nap while listening to his songs, but Jess still wants to battle the Communist Canadians with Beth on her PSP. She really loves video games. The two and a half hours have already passed quickly and the plane landed at the small Italian city of Reggio Calabria, located on the southwestern part of Italy, the "toes" part of the boot-shaped country. The plane reached the terminal and preparing to start boarding. Carmelita is still sleeping and Sly tries to wake her up.
    "Wake up, my foxy angel." said Sly. "Enjoyed your nap?"
    "Heh, hey, Sly." said Carmelita. "Have we arrived yet?"
    "Yeah, we're getting ready to board now."
    "Okay. Ahh, I really needed that sleep and this vacation. All those assignments and having the Sanzaru Gang put behind bars really worn me out."
    "But never enough to worn-out your beauty and positive attitude."
    "Thanks, Ringtail. I just can't wait to lie down on something soft and comfortable. How's our little rascals?"
    "They dozed off like you. I think you made tiredness very contiguous."
    "Very funny. Its time for them to have a wake-up call."
    Jessica dozed off like her brother during the latter half of their flight. She and her friend, Beth, won the battle on Conquerors and Heroes but Beth left the game before Jess slept away. Sly and Carmelita reached and pulled out their luggage in the top containers and tried to wake up their kids.
    "Hey, Jessica, Matt, time to get up." said Carmelita.
    Jess and Matt woke up and started stretching. Sleeping on the seats made them really tired and lacking in energy.
    "Mom, Dad, are we there yet?" asked Matt.
    "Yeah we are, son." said Sly. "Welcome to Italy, kids. Lets hurry up and get to the beach resort quick."
    "Ah, good." said Jess. "I can finally sleep in a real bed."

    The Coopers took a cab to their hotel that is next to the beach and it had a nice view of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel they're staying in is luxurious and so is their room. When they reached their beds they quickly decided to take a nice long nap on their comfy beds before going to the beach. The plane ride really worn-out the family. After the nice nap, the Coopers finally got to the beach and enjoyed the sun. Sly and Carmelita decided to take a nice family photo. Sly sit up the camera and joined his family for the pose. Later on, everyone started making sandcastles, swimming in the sea, and took nice long walks on the beach. They went into town for dinner at a nice restaurant and enjoyed some little sightseeing at night, the lights and night sky made the city look beautiful. The Coopers went back to the hotel and get ready for bed and tomorrow's next fun. The parents and kids decided to sleep-in after leaving early for their flight on their first day but they will be spending the rest of their time in Italy exploring more of Reggio Calabria and the surrounding countryside also. Jess and Matt got separate beds and their mom and dad shares one together. The family of raccoons and foxes lie down on their beds and say good night to each other before sleeping.
    "Sweet dreams, Carmelita, I love you." said Sly.
    Carmelita said, "I love you too, Sly. Good night."
    "Good night, Jess, good night, Matt. Love you." said the parents.
    "Night Mom and Dad, love you too." said the kids.
    "Night, Matt. Love you."
    "Love you too, Jess."

I hope all of you enjoyed the story and love the picture I made for Moon-Shyne. And I hope you, Alicia, also love this. You're one of my best friends on DeviantArt and I hope we'll always be friends.
